About the Company

As a production team member, you will work on various production lines (automatic packaging, manual packaging, roasting, coating, labelling). The goal is to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction, both internally and externally.

About the Role

The role involves working on different production lines and ensuring the quality and safety of the products.

Responsibilities

  • Work on different production lines (automatic packaging, manual packaging, roasting, coating, labelling)
  • Work with raw materials, involving heavy lifting of up to 25 kg
  • Place products in boxes or crates
  • Stack boxes onto pallets
  • Assemble and disassemble boxes
  • Perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks
  • Report any product non-conformities (weight, labelling, etc.) to the operator or team leader
  • Follow and apply quality and food safety standards, procedures, and GMP ("Good Manufacturing Practices")
  • Maintain a clean workstation at all times
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and report any incidents or observations to the operator or team leader
  • Contribute to achieving the department's productivity goals
  • Communicate needs and observations to the operator or team leader
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the team Leader as needed

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or a combination of relevant work experience will be considered.
  • 1 year of experience in a production role
  • Experience in a food production environment or factory setting
  • Experience operating lifting equipment and pallet jacks (an asset)
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems
  • Good physical condition, including the ability to pull, push, and lift products weighing up to 25 kg, and to stand for long periods
  • Positive, friendly, respectful, and motivated attitude
  • Ability to communicate in English and/or French (an asset)
  • Reliability, good dexterity, speed of execution, and team spirit
  • Willingness to work overtime occasionally
