Position Overview:

We are currently have a casual vacancy and are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Activity Worker to join our dynamic team in Kelowna Embrace flexibility with casual day shift positions ranging from 0 to 37.5 hours per week. Joining us in a casual role opens doors to internal postings, allowing you to apply for permanent part-time or full-time positions. Your Role:

As a Community Activity Worker, you'll support clients in our Adult Day Program by helping them maintain independence, build life skills, and stay socially and physically engaged. You will assist with daily living activities, encourage participation, and implement recreational and social programs tailored to individual needs.

You'll adapt activities as required, promote a safe and supportive environment, and perform delegated tasks in line with program policies and provincial guidelines.

  • Grade 12 plus and at a minimum graduation from an Activity/Recreation program; or an equivalent combination of current education, training and experience.
  • One-year recent related experience in Adult Day Programs (which includes experience in recreation/activation).
  • Class 5 BC Driver's License.
