We are looking for a fulltime WETT CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN to install and service wood burning appliances in the Durham, GTA and York regions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Install wood burning appliances in customers' homes
  • Inspect systems and their components to ensure safety and identify necessary repairs
  • Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques
  • Perform WETT inspections
  • Perform chimney cleaning

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • WETT Technician certification is mandatory
  • Advanced technical knowledge of wood burning systems.
  • Ability to climb ladders
  • Valid drivers' license and clean drivers' abstract
  • WHMIS certification
  • Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis
  • Good customer service skills
  • Good communication skills

Working Conditions

  • Full-time work week of 40 hours. Flexibility of hours is required based on customer needs.
  • Service range is the Durham, GTA and York regions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

  • Wood systems: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • WETT License (required)
