Job Summary

The SEO Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve a website's search engine rankings, increase organic traffic, and enhance overall online visibility. This role involves keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and performance analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keyword Research & Strategy:
    • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms.
    • Develop content strategies based on keyword insights.
  • On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking.
    • Ensure proper use of schema markup and structured data.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Perform site audits to identify and fix crawl errors, broken links, and speed issues.
    • Optimize site architecture for better indexing and user experience.
  • Off-Page SEO:
    • Build and manage link-building campaigns.
    • Monitor backlink profile and disavow harmful links.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Track and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEMrush.
    • Prepare monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and ROI.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to implement SEO best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in SEO (2+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with local SEO and international SEO.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
  • Understanding of PPC and other digital marketing channels.
