Responsibilities
- Manual Machinist required, no CNC work
- Machining and measuring within 0.001"accuracy
- Set Up, fabricate and utilize fixtures and tooling
- Record and document required information in company work packages
- Ensure the maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the manufacturers requirements, the company policy manuals and the applicable airworthiness authority
- Perform work safely in accordance with industry and company standards
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Type / Category
Location: Calgary, AB
Position Type: Full Time, 40 hour work week
Schedule: Monday – Friday; Regular shift 7:00am-3:30pm
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Journeyman Machinist certification or 2/3rd year Apprentice
- Red Seal certification considered an asset
- 5 years manual machinist experience
- Experience in aircraft or component maintenance considered an asset
- Able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Proactive approach to problem solving
