Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while contributing to a welcoming dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong commitment to food safety and quality standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
  • Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
  • Follow all food safety protocols and proper storage procedures
  • Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills in the food industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
