Position: Quality Assurance (QA) Technician. Education: A College Diploma (2 Years) from an accredited institution is required. Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience.A fast-growing, Vaughan-based food company operating multiple brands across retail, foodservice, and manufacturing throughout the USA and Canada is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Technician to join our team. Role Overview:This role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for food safety, quality control, and maintaining the highest standards in food production. As a QA Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our food safety and quality systems while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and delivering safe, high-quality products to our customers.Key Responsibilities:Implement, monitor, and maintain the company’s Food Safety and Quality Systems, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and procedures.Conduct pre-operational inspections and ensure all records are completed accurately in accordance with written programs.Ensure strict adherence to customer and regulatory requirements, including GFSI, USDA, and FDA standards.Perform daily pest control inspections, monitor GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance, and maintain scale calibration records.Serve as a professional representative of the company when interacting with customers, government personnel, and facility visitors.Address and resolve deviations by initiating corrective actions and ensuring that all issues are resolved in compliance with established standards.Note: Employee may be required to perform other duties as necessary to support the operational needs of the organization.
