To ensure success as a QA technician you should have a working knowledge of a food safety and quality system, detailed oriented, good communication skills, experience in documentations & sampling.

**Responsibilities**
- Inspect and maintain all aspects of GMP and HACCP program.
- Monitor and maintain the Quality, Food Safety and BRC systems.
- Maintain the Pest control program and document all findings to be brought up to HACCP standards.
- Monitor, verify food safety programs and facility practices, then take appropriate action to ensure the integrity of the food safety systems.
- Verify all processing CCP daily.
- Inspect the incoming ingredient and packaging materials and the finished products and check quality.
- Maintain the sanitation program and training of employees with respect to cleaning and chemicals use.
- Maintain inventory of Quality Assurance supplies.
- Record keeping, monitoring and verification of documents.
- Report food safety and quality deviations to QA Manager, assist in conducting risk assessment for non-conformity
- Investigate conduct Root Cause Analysis for nonconformities and customer complaints, following root cause analysis and corrective actions in order to close non-conformity.

Assist the QA manager in handling recalls, audits and related QA processes.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the food industry
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Microbiology or Food Science.
- Working knowledge of BRC, HACCP, GMPs, allergens, and food safety.
- Proficient computer abilities using Word & Excel

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
