**Summary**:
Responsible for upholding and maintaining SOP's related to the QA/QC Department. For example; conducting tests and preparing documentation for the receiving and release of all the incoming raw materials and finished goods under the supervision of QA/QC Supervisor/Manager.

**Duties as QC/Lab Technician**
- Test / analyze and release all the incoming raw materials under QA/QC Supervisor’s supervision
- Inspect and release all the incoming Packaging materials under QA/QC Supervisor’s supervision
- Test / analyze and release the bulk manufactured batches under QA/QC Supervisor’s supervision
- Inspect and release the finished goods lots under QA/QC Supervisor’s supervision; Test / analyze stability samples under QA/QC Supervisor’s supervision
- Execute and perform testing as per methods, following the company’s Quality Assurance Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations and Change Control programs and cGMP guidelines;
- Update QA/QC Supervisor for the lab supplies in a timely fashion;
- Update QA/QC Supervisor of any discrepancies, observed during routine operations;
- Maintain a clean and organized lab area on a daily basis, including cleaning testing equipment;
- Responsible for calibration of lab equipment and notifying the QA/QC Supervisor when maintenance is required;
- Report any chemicals damaged or chemical spills and clean up as necessary;
- Dispose of all raw material packaging and refuse into appropriate waste receptacle;
- Completion of batch records - recording raw material lot #’s, batch lot #’s, etc.
- Other duties assigned by the President, COO or QA/QC Manager;
**HOURS OF WORK**:
This is a full-time position with hours being 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday each week; however, we are flexible and are willing to adjust your hours as long as it meets our needs. Please note your hours may change as our needs require and we may ask you to work the occasional Saturday or Sunday when necessary.

Our office is normally closed for all CDN statutory holidays, however, we may ask you to work on a CDN statutory holiday and take a USA holiday off instead. You are entitled to a 1/2 hour paid lunch break and 2 - 15 minute paid breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, if you work a minimum of 8 hours.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
