**Responsibilities include; but not limited to**:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for a wide range of tasks to drive sales growth and manage the assigned sales region effectively. Key duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Meet regularly with key prospective and current customers to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth
- Communicate regional market trends, challenges, and opportunities to product managers and the Vice President of Sales to align sales strategies with overall business goals
- Travel extensively to coach Territory Managers and support sales activities in the field
- Supervise and provide guidance to Territory Managers, including conducting annual performance reviews
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and build brand awareness
- Oversee the hiring and training of Territory Managers as needed
- Develop and implement territorial and regional pricing strategies to remain competitive and maximize profitability
- Responsible for preparing regional board reports to be submitted to the Vice President of Sales quarterly
- Reviews and approves all VIP Tour visits with Territory Managers to meet company expectations and goals
- Exercise strong leadership and management skills in line with company policies and applicable laws
- Lead new product introductions and study market trends to support product development strategies
- Monitor and document competitors' actions and market activities
- Establish and manage sales quotas to achieve regional sales objectives
- Collaborate with vendors on purchasing and selling agreements to optimize inventory and product offerings
- Review and approve all Territory Manager’s expenses and budgets
- Host quarterly Regional Meetings with Territory Managers
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Northern Regional Sales Manager directly supervises Territory Managers within the assigned sales region, ensuring all supervisory responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Key responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; evaluating employee performance; providing recognition and disciplinary action as needed; and addressing and resolving complaints or issues that arise.

A valid U.S. passport is required for this role as the position involves frequent international travel.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
A four-year degree in business or a related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
**LANGUAGE SKILLS**
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills for effective information conveyance, relationship building, and negotiation. Must excel in presenting, active listening, clear instruction, and report writing, and be able to adapt communication style to various audiences while managing conflicts professionally.
**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**
Requires strong mathematical skills to calculate pricing multipliers, analyze sales data, develop quotas, forecast trends, manage budgets, and interpret complex data for informed decision-making and sales strategy development.
**REASONING ABILITY**
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
Requires extensive travel, which includes long periods of driving or flying. The role also requires the ability to lift and carry materials, set up for presentations, and attend trade shows, necessitating stamina and physical endurance.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
Typically works in a dynamic environment, balancing time between an office setting and extensive travel. Engages with clients and team members, attend trade shows, and manage remote tasks, requiring adaptability and the ability to perform under varying conditions.
