Region - Western Canada Region **Location**: based in region or in Ontario with expectations of regular travel **Key Job Responsibilities**: - Drive sales and profit growth plan for the company’s products into the Energy and Utility market; - Develop new business with Utilities, Engineering Firms and Contractors through specification work and technical solutions; - Build long term collaborative and trusting relationships with end-users, distributors, and sales representatives; - Diligently develop and manage your pipeline opportunities with regular follow up to keep opportunities moving to the next step; - Lead capture plans and pricing strategies for tenders and projects; - Collaborate with inside sales and technical support resources to manage customer requests (technical requests, requests for quotations and proposals); - Manage distribution channel partners and set channel strategies in the region; - Provide technical sales support to Utilities & Engineering firms to recommend PLP solutions and support product usage; - Collaborate with internal resources to build a winning culture and satisfaction of our customers. **Qualifications**: - Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Power Utility market (Transmission, Distribution and Substation preferred) - University or College degree in Engineering or Sciences preferred. - Results-oriented, excellent communication skills, creative and self-reliance. - Excellent client presentation skills. - Working knowledge of estimating and bid preparation. - Contacts in the field of electrical energy T&D is an asset. - Proven ability to provide superior sales service and represent the interests of the company. - Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
