**Position Information**

The general purpose of the Systems Administrator is to maintain critical infrastructure systems including server environment, network environment telephone system, and printers. This position focuses on recommending and implementing necessary changes to infrastructure overseen by the IoT Manager. The role of the systems administrator includes installing and configuring software and hardware. The role also manages technology tools and network servers.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Responsible for ESXi Host environment (software upgrades, VM updates, storage integrity) backup (integrity) and file management (storage management and permissions)
- Recommend and implement critical infrastructure changes including servers and network equipment
- Manage L3 Cisco switch administration including port security and VLAN Management.
- Support connectivity set up, trouble-shooting and continuous improvement of the processes to ensure the best client experience.
- Respond to user Helpdesk tickets
- Maintain and monitor IoT systems
- Completes audits for GA-SG (corporate security guidelines)
- Manages MDM + VOIP Management at ACI
- Manages SCCM Management at ACI
- Manages the escalation process and support facilitation of advanced technical requests through Veeam and VMware support
- Contributes to policy development related to network, hardware, and software acquisition
- Manage system backups, server administration, network administration
- Support projects pertaining to backups, server administration, network administration or other requirements as directed

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- 5 years’ experience working in IT
- Minimum 3 years studying or working in the IT Industry (Combined).
- Must have proficient knowledge of networking terminology.
- Must be proficient in Office 365, Server 2012-2019, Active Directory
- Experience with VMware ESXi virtualization technologies
- Experience working with NAS/SAN devices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Strong Written and Verbal communication skills

**Education and Training**
- Bachelor’s Degree or a Specialized College Diploma/Degree is required.
- Cisco Certifications
- Microsoft Certifications
- Project Management Certifications
