**ROLE SUMMARY**

The Technical Services Intern is key in supporting SBW’s technical operations, platform maintenance, and support services while ensuring our marketing materials and messaging is up to date. This position updates and organizes technical services documentation, SOPs and is a key point of contact updating the intranet services. The position reports to the Technical Services Manager and works closely with and communicates regularly with the Marketing and Business Development Team.

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

**Technical Services Coordination**
- Assist in developing, testing and publishing SBW's Intranet and performing progressive document uploads as required.
- Maintain files, documentation, hyperlinks, SOPs, and online dashboards as required.
- Coordinate, implement and maintain published procedures and standards as directed.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues as required.
- Coordinator technical service requests as required in order of priority.
- Work with external vendors when required, requesting quotes and demonstrations.

**Marketing Coordination**
- In coordination with the Marketing Coordinator, assist updating social media accounts such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube as required.
- Assist the Marketing Coordinator to update SBW website as required.
- Collaborate with Marketing Coordinator and graphic design consultant(s) to edit images, logos, and branding materials.
- Assist with coordinating and maintaining photo galleries and images for internal and marketing purposes.
- Source information and expertise for logo changes, graphic images and preparing presentation materials.
- Assist the Pre-Construction and Business Development team with marketing materials and internal messaging.
- Assist in coordinating external and internal events as required.
- Assist with photography and video sessions as required.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Currently enrolled in a full-time Digital Media, Arts, Communication and/or Marketing in a Canadian Post Secondary Program.
- Exceptional communication (verbal and writing) skills.
- Good knowledge of AI platforms and tools.
- Excellent knowledge of Social Media platforms.
- Superior problem solving and organization skills.
- Strong knowledge of website management software.
- Knowledge of the Construction Sector, a definite asset.
