**YOUR PROFILE**

**YOUR CONTRIBUTION**

Upon your arrival, you will support the Project Control team in planning and monitoring the performance of assigned projects, including providing guidance to project managers through the implementation of project controls processes and procedures. You will report to the Project Control Office Manager while being an integrated member of the Project Control Team and working very closely with the Lead Project Control of the project. As well, you will be requested to support new projects in development. Your role and responsibilities will be the following:

- Review, standardize and manage processes and procedures by defining internal control references and baselines allowing to track financial performance of projects according to project execution plans on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and to recommend action items when deviations from the optimal performance is observed working closely with Project Managers
- Ensure that the change management process is maintained and integrated into Enerkem's policies, procedures, and contracts.
- Lead the development of ETC and EAC for the project cost with the project team
- Ensure the control and support of project managers in their budget and forecast monitoring - Full review with PM/PD for approval.
- Produce monthly governance reports that reflect the PMO's key OKRs. Key Cost KPI’s
- Participate in the review of the financial model of projects in development to ensure the link with the finance function.
- Ensure that the project is carried out in accordance with the directives, policies, and procedures of the client and Enerkem.
- Participate in supporting the project accounting person with ad hoc projects as well as financial analysis as needed.
- Works very closely with Accounting, Planning, and other functions for efficient and robust updating and reporting of EVMS.
- Prepares in coordination and collaboration with the project planner the cost reports to include EVMS metrics such as:

- Cost Performance Index,
- Schedule Performance Index,
- Cost Variance,
- Schedule Variance,
- Estimate to Complete,
- Estimate at Completion,
- Variance at Completion,
- Variance explanation.
- Maintain an invoice Log/Register up to date with Finance and issue to project team
- Prepare in collaboration with the finance team the project financial report and the financial key indicators and metrics ( Margins, revenue, cost, invoice, hourly rate analysis etc. ) and issue to PM/PD/PMO and the to others VPs.
- Administrative set-up of new projects, including timekeeping, reporting, chart of accounts and document management.
- Support PMO to archive relevant Project documentation to meet auditing standards.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree in business or engineering field.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering project controls, in the construction and commissioning of a major project (+100M) an asset
- Experience with Project Cost Management systems.
- Proven experience with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis.
- Good exposure with project management methodology.
- Good understanding of general business interfaces/process as related to procurement, engineering, operations, and accounting.
