**À quoi ressemblera votre semaine de travail?**

Advanced budget monitoring:

- Supervise and produce the update of budgets, recalculations and forecast terminations.
- Coordinate the collection, validation and analysis of quantitative data from the field and partners to produce an accurate spending entitlement calculation.
- Ensure the consistency of commitments, incurred and still to be achieved quantitatively and monetarily in the management system and work and collaboration files.

Financial analysis & decision support:

- Perform in-depth analyses of the deviations between planned and achieved, date and end.
- Actively participate in monthly budget control reviews with project management and budget officials.

Monthly Closures & Compliance:

- Prepare the accrued cost items at each end of period (cut-off).
- Collect and audit the quality of quantitative physical progress data.
- Verify the consistency of spending rights, costs incurred and forecasts.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Accounting to ensure the reliability of analytical accounting data.

Supervision & coordination:

- Support and supervise the work of cost controllers (junior, intermediate).
- Act as a contact for technical and methodological aspects of cost control on the Project.
- Participate in the welcome and training of new cost control team members, supporting the manager when applicable.

Improvement of tools & processes:

- Propose improvements on the budget control processes and tools used (Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.)
- Participate in the creation or improvement of steering and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with the support team for the development of automated or customized reports according to identified needs.

**Possédez-vous ces qualifications et habiletés?**Education:

- Master’s degree in management, management control, finance, accounting or construction management

Techniques:

- At least 6 years of professional experience demonstrating advanced mastery of cost control, financial analysis and monitoring of budget performance in the field of engineering or construction.
- Mastery of project management concepts (EVM).
- Excel expertise (complex formulas, automation, VBA macros is an asset).
- Good knowledge of ERP environments (SAP is an asset) and use of Power BI reporting tools (created by the support team).
- Strong understanding of project management in consortium or joint venture mode.
- Ability to interpret complex data and make clear recommendations.

- Terms and conditions of employment: Permanent position based in our regional office in Quebec
- Working hours: 40 hours per week full-time.
- Advanced level of French required
- Compensation and benefits:

- Proposed salary between $95,000 and $110,000, with eligibility for the company’s bonus and equity program.
- Up to 5% RRSP matching after the waiting period.
- 4 weeks of vacation.
- Extended health, medical and dental coverage paid by employer.
Annual performance-based wage increases of 2% to 5%.
