We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities. You should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations and increase the company's overall market share.Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations
- Create and assign daily tasks to team members
- Manage workload and set job assignments
- Conduct product and order inspections to ensure accuracy and quality
- Space planning and management for efficient storage
- Supply chain management to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely deliveries
- Conduct regular safety inspections for safe working conditions
- Monitor and report stock levels, software bugs, and incidents
- Hire, train, and manage a team of inventory associates
- Develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching as needed
- Analyze warehouse data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost reduction
- Suggest tech-enabled process optimizations to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Set up and track KPIs to monitor warehouse performance
- Create operational projects to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Manage the budget and forecast expenses related to warehouse operations
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance to inform decision-making
- Generate additional revenue for the company through book sales

**Requirements**:

- Prefer a bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Has experience managing staff in the day-to-day warehouse operations
- 5 years of experience working as a warehouse manager and supervisory experience
- High-energy, self-motivated team player with the ability to multi-task and detail-oriented
- Proven and demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to push, pull and move equipment and/or supplies up to 50 pounds
