**About the Role**

IMAX is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the growing Corporate Accounting team. You’ll report directly into the Senior Manager and be responsible for assisting in the ongoing preparation and analysis around IMAX’s month end financials to help ensure accurate financials and a timely close. We’re looking for someone who can be constantly focused on process improvements and comfortable working autonomously in their role.

**What You'll Do**:

- Monthly analysis and reconciliation of Accrued Accounts Receivable and Deferred Revenue accounts
- Revenue recognition of company’s key revenue streams, providing analysis and audit support
- Creation of various reports and schedules for month end reporting and reconciliation, including variance analysis
- Support company’s Treasury operations including bank transactions, domestic and global fund transfers, foreign exchange, intercompany loans
- Analysis of company’s SG&A expenses and necessary adjustments
- Assistance with special projects and other areas in the Finance group as required
- Assist with internal and external audit requests

**What You'll Need**:

- 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Analyst role, preferably in a large/multinational company
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in accounting and the ability to offer assistance on accounting functions

**Nice to Have**:

- SAP experience is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills
- Highly efficient, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to stay focus on tasks, particularly when striving to meet deadlines
