**Responsibilities**:

- **Data Entry and Record Keeping**: Accurately input and maintain various data related to shipments, deliveries, drivers, and other essential information into our database systems.
- **Document Management**: Organize, file, and maintain physical and digital records, including contracts, invoices, shipping documents, and compliance records.
- **Scheduling and Coordination**: Help schedule appointments, meetings, and dispatches, ensuring that timelines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- **Reporting**: Generate routine reports on key performance indicators, tracking shipment statuses, driver performance, and other relevant metrics.
- **Vendor Relations**: Assist in managing relationships with vendors and suppliers by placing orders, tracking deliveries, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- **Assistance to Drivers**: Provide administrative support to our drivers, including helping with paperwork, route planning, and addressing any concerns they may have.
- **Office Support**: Maintain office supplies, equipment, and ensure a clean and organized workspace for the team.
- **Assist Management**: Support upper management with various administrative tasks, such as preparing presentations, compiling data for reports, and assisting in special projects.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or an associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
- Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and familiarity with database management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when dealing with data entry and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry.
- Knowledge of trucking industry terminology and regulations is a plus.
- Professional demeanor and customer-service orientation.

**Compensation**:Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

- Logistics: 1 year (required)
