Bar Manager - Public Table (North Vancouver)
Public Table, located at the base of Mt Seymour on Northlands Golf Course, is looking for a skilled and motivated Bar Manager to join our team. We’re a busy, community-driven restaurant with a vibrant bar and lounge, a spacious patio, and a focus on warm, welcoming service.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of our bar program from scheduling and ordering to training and creating a positive, engaged team. You’ll ensure smooth service during peak hours, manage inventory, and help deliver the kind of experience that keeps our guests coming back, whether they’re here for a casual drink, dinner with friends, or to catch the game.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage weekly staff schedules for FOH team
Train, coach, and support bartenders and bar staff
Oversee ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships
Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety
Curate and manage the sports viewing experience in the lounge
Collaborate with ownership and management on cocktail menus and seasonal offerings
Lead by example on the floor, fostering a positive and professional work environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a busy bar or restaurant
Strong leadership and communication skills
Solid knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and bar operations
Ability to manage staff schedules, ordering, and inventory efficiently
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
