In anticipation of opening in the Fall of 2025, we are searching for an **Executive Chef** to join our new **Parkland at the Common** team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

**About the Opportunity**
- Selects, shapes, and develops the culinary team
- Providing leadership and overseeing provision of food services
- Providing catering services for internal and external events
- Providing input into division menu development
- Liaising with the Health Services Team to ensure client receive the appropriate therapeutic menu modification as indicated by their medical condition
**About You**
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- Journeyman Cook papers from an accredited institution
- Current and recognized Food Safety certificate
- Minimum of two years in a leadership role in food services
- Experience in volume food preparation in the hospitality or long-term care sector
- Previous management experience is an asset, as well as any other Alzheimer’s or Dementia training courses are considered an asset
