**Job Summary**:
The Marketing Assistant supports the Strategic Marketing Group in the execution of various promotional initiatives for the Pure Flavor® brand. This outgoing & energetic individual is a jack of all trades that is not only resourceful but also thinks quickly on their feet and can network with the right people to get the job done. A team player in every sense of the word, the Marketing Assistant is a multi-tasker, plate spinner, fresh veggie lover, and keen to be part of a forward-thinking team that is constantly thinking outside of the bun.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the execution of all marketing initiatives related to the Pure Flavor® brand
- Support the day to day operations of the Strategic Marketing Group, an active contributor
- Research & analyze industry trends; maintain knowledge of competitive landscape, collect produce industry data including regional and commodities facts
- Work collaboratively with the Strategic Marketing Group & Sales team to support retail & foodservice accounts for content/promotions, new product launch
- Supported by the CMO, work collaboratively with the team to develop the annual trade show plan; maintain the event calendar with the Sales team; effectively coordinate all moving parts related to trade show management including reservations, budget tracking & related approvals, set up & dismantle
- Help coordinate community events; on site presence as required
- Other core expectations as defined by the company

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications
- 2-3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, project, and general event management
- Previous agencies experience an asset
- Social media savvy; actively engaged online, understands the purpose of using the right content on the right channel; exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to manage a number of projects/multi-task with daily competing priorities and staggered deadlines
- Working knowledge of Adobe CC beneficial; digital analytics certifications an asset
- Computer Skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and office management software
- Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and in a team atmosphere
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate keen attention to detail and task-related accuracy

**Work Environment**:

- Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; ability and willingness to travel
- Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required.
- The position may involve needing to lift up to 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds.
