PTW is hiring a **_Shop Hand_** to join our team in Fort St.John, BC.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**?
- Organizes and maintains shop and yard.
- Receiving and shipping Freight
- Performs minor preventative maintenance on tools/equipment.
- Manages material inventory returned from projects.
- Arranges pick ups and/or hot shots materials and products to various projects.
- Other duties as required.
- Acts in a manner consistent with PTW’s core values and according to PTW’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behaviour.
- Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.).
- Good hand-eye coordination. Possesses the ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
- Teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to safety rules
- Must be approachable and maintain a positive attitude.

**SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
- Must have CSA approved safety boots.
