**Controller (CPA Required)**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and manage monthly Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
- Develop financial models and assist with forecasting
- Compile and manage annual budgets
- Oversee cash flow management to ensure financial stability
- Interface with the board and prepare detailed financial reports
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)
- Handle collections and ensure timely payments
- Oversee document control and maintain accurate financial records
- Create Purchase Orders (PO) and manage invoicing processes
- Manage inventory and assist with financial tracking of goods
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Provide general administrative support as required
- Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy
- Assist with tax filing and ensure compliance with regulations
- Administer Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) filings and related tasks
- Support HR functions as needed
- Handle bank deposits and ensure timely processing
- Assist with any additional duties as requested by management
**Qualifications**:
- CPA designation is required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proven experience in financial management and accounting
- Proficiency in financial software and systems (experience preferred)
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear insights
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
