As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Controller** to join our Calgary office and play a key role in shaping our financial operations.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with **ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises)**:

- Provide accounting support and oversight for nonprofit activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis efforts
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Liaise with external auditors, and tax advisors
- Support strategic planning and decision-making with accurate financial insightsSupervise and mentor accounting team members

**Required Qualifications**:

- **CPA designation** (CA, CGA, CMA) or equivalent
- **Minimum 7 years** of progressive accounting experience
- Prior experience in a Controller or similar senior financial role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a growth-focused company
- Experience with financial reporting under ASPE
- Proven experience in building and enhancing accounting systems
- Experience with **Yardi Voyager**is an asset
- Proficiency in **Power BI** is an asset
- Experience in **nonprofit accounting** principles
