**What we’ll love about you**:
- 10+ years’ experience in custom Miscellaneous Metal production. Aluminum and stainless-steel fabrication an asset
- 5+ years’ experience in a supervisor role
- Ability to schedule and delegate work
- CWB and AWS Welding Supervisor course completion is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Ability to consult and advise Project Engineers on fabrication methods
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Proficient problem solving and communication skills
- Dedicated team player
**What you’ll work on**:
- Set production goals with the Plant Manager and report progress to appropriate parties daily
- Act as a liaison between the engineering department and the production facility
- Be hands on with fabrication as needed; ensure all fabrication is completed to high quality standards and in good timing
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequences of operations and set up requirements; plan and map out project fabrication strategies
- Manage material inventory to coincide with production cue
- Maintain a safe work environment by performing work in accordance with the Ontario Health & Safety Act as well as with the Company’s Health & Safety Policies
