Job Description

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for miscellaneous metals projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand requirements.

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive bids.

- Identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize project costs and timelines.

- Maintain and update cost databases, ensuring current pricing and trends are reflected.

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.

- Provide support during project execution to ensure alignment with estimated costs and budgets.

- Present estimates and proposals to senior management and clients as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Estimator - Miscellaneous Metals should have:

- Proven experience in miscellaneous metals estimating within the construction department of metals fabrication companies

- Strong understanding of industrial and manufacturing processes and materials.

- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.

- Strong communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
