**SUMMARY**The position is responsible for creating and closing production orders in a timely basis, checking production output data to ensure information are input accurately into the computer system. The incumbent is also responsible to ensure accuracy of the raw materials inventory which are received in or transferred to the production locations.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Create and/or update production orders according to daily production schedule.
- Check production output with packaging lead hand to ensure finished products are completed before closing production orders.
- Check, correct wrong output data.
- Close production orders in a timely manner in Microsoft Business Central system.
- Report actual consumption for all production ingredients and packaging materials.
- Report raw materials discrepancies to Production/Warehouse Manager.
- Collect production records from all production locations and performs sorting & filing.
- Prepares and updates production control forms.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Collect and report all data associated with waste water discharge to GVRD.
- Coordinate with Production Scheduler on a weekly basis to book 3PL services.
- Maintain and develop tools and spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- High school grade 12 or equivalent
- Minimum one-year office work experience
- Good verbal and written English language skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
- Self-starter
- Detail oriented and ability to work well under pressure and with mínimal supervision.
- Able to understand verbal Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is considered an asset
- Minimum typing speed of 50 w.p.m

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Permanent Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Work is performed (90% in office environment and 10% in production facility)
- Regular shift work / Regular office hours Monday
- Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm
- Exposure to noise and a wet temperature varied environment when in the production area
- Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required to meet business needs
- Wearing of company provided Uniform and other Personal Protective Equipment is required as applicable
