**Communications and Marketing Coordinator**

**(One Year Contract Position)**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide marketing and communications support to key activities and events, school-wide programs, and general marketing and communications priorities
- Assist the Director to execute strategy, including organizing projects, managing deliverables, and assisting with the coordination of external agencies and vendors
- Research and consolidate information for archival purposes
- Support paid search and digital advertising campaigns
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education (College Diploma or University Degree) in marketing, communications, business or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing and/or communications
- Experience creating and maintaining communications campaigns
- Experience designing marketing collateral, with design software experience (such as Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize
- Experience and detailed understanding of best digital practices
- Understanding key digital marketing trends and practices
- Knowledge and experience using HTML is an asset
- Previous experience in the K-12 and/or independent school sector is preferable
- A current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
- Current Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED
