We are currently seeking a book keeper to join our company’s office team. This position is a full-time hourly position with
professional and positive interest in their work.
The position provides administrative support to the office team, as well as client intake. The Book keeper will be
will work under and report directly to the Business Owner, alongside the company’s other associates.
Responsibilities & Duties:

- Open, maintain, and organize electronic and physical client and supplier files
- Draft correspondence
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls during office hours, and after hours for emergency services (on-call phone will be
provided)
- Manage calendars and files related to events and create communication reminders
- Photocopy, scan, and fax documents as requested
- Responsible for performing a variety of complex clerical functions for patient billing, including verification of invoice
information, maintenance of third-party billing records, following up on submitted claims; resubmitting claims and resolving
any problems that arise dealing with lawyers and lawsuits
Qualifications & Skills:

- Excellent command of the English language
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle
- Great at multitasking and managing multiple projects at once
- Must be available for in office work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Good customer relations
- Basic understanding of accounting
- Experience using QuickBooks, considered an asset
- Experience in the healthcare and insurance industry, considered an asset
- HCAI/FSCO experience considered an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)
