This is a one-year contract ATS position with the potential for renewal. Salary will be commensurate with experience in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) agreement.

**Position Summary**

The appointee must be able to teach:

- Cell differentiation, intracellular and extracellular signalling, the cell cycle, apoptosis and necrosis at advanced undergraduate (3rd, 4th year) levels (e.g. CELL 302, CELL 402, CELL 405)
- Advanced cell biology, or organelles (e.g. CELL 300, CELL 301)
- General topics in molecular cell biology at the 2nd year level (e.g., CELL201)

This position includes additional duties related to course coordination, curriculum revision and development. There is also potential for time devoted to research and supervision of undergraduate students participating in our experiential laboratory techniques/capstone research project courses.
