**Position Summary**

The **Commercial Auto Lease Consultant **is a customer-orientated and highly organized individual responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction within the Commercial Leasing Department. The role requires assessing client demand, presenting vehicle and payment options, and maintaining contact with clients in order to provide service to meet all of their needs. The main responsibility of this position is to aggressively build new relationships with potential municipal and corporate clients through the tender process, as well as manage the entire lease process from identifying prospects, cold calling, and face to face meetings. Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Commercial Lease Consultant works with various areas of the business to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Complete daily review and assessment of third-party lead tools (BC Bid, Merx, etc.) communicating to affected parties
- Respond to Request for Proposals (RFP) by playing a key role in the development of Bid strategies and researching vehicle requirements
- Put your time management skills to work and keep the team on schedule for meeting deadlines;
- Provide procedures, tools, and templates to support proposal development efforts
- Prepare and coordinate timing of vehicle purchases, modifications, and deliveries between manufacturers, vendors, and customers
- Participate in weekly progress meetings and progress tracking by maintaining accurate and up-to-date reports
- Prospect for new business and cultivate relationships to build up a referral portfolio for future leases
- Meet and exceed established leases targets by finding leads and turning prospects into customers
- Demonstrate a high level of product knowledge
- Review all payment options with clients, and endorse vehicle accessories as well as additional warranties and protections
- Provide a superior experience for clients in an effort to exceed their expectations
- Follow up with both prospects and past clients to ensure complete satisfaction

**Technical Skills & Requirements**
- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record/abstract
- VSA Sales License (can be obtained upon hiring)
- Fluency in English required, additional languages an asset
- Previous automotive sales experience an asset

**Logistical Requirements**

This is a full-time position Monday to Friday 8:30am till 5:00pm at TransCan Leasing (888 Terminal Ave. Vancouver) that will also require travel to Dueck on Marine (400 SE Marine Drive, Vancouver). On occasion you may be required to work extended hours, including weekends, in order to meet deadlines based on the needs of the business.
