Purchasing Coordinator

Sobotec is currently looking for a **Purchasing Coordinator**. This position plays a vital role in supporting the Purchasing Department of our company. You will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as necessary.
- Research potential vendors.
- Produce Purchase Orders, track and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain and update purchasing database and records, ensuring accurate and up to date information.
- Resolve vendor quality issues.
- Receive material and manage paperwork for invoice approval.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Perform various administrative duties to meet the needs of the department.
**Required Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communications skills, both written and verbal to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Relationship building skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Very strong computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn new systems are essential.
**Education & Experience**:
- High school diploma is a minimum requirement.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration would be an asset.
- Previous experience in a Purchasing role is highly desirable.
