**Position Summary**

Responsible for the purchasing of all materials, tooling, services, and subcontracts at all Orlick facilities and to ensure the high quality, cost effective and timely production of products. Effectively and efficiently oversee, implement and maintain the purchasing system at all Orlick facilities with a primary focus on the administration and processing of all purchasing related activities.
- Sourcing and selection of purchased products and services including: machinery, repair parts, chemicals, safety equipment, as well as, office, equipment and sanitation supplies.
- Knowledgeable of supplier sources/data relating to raw material, shop supplies, outside contractors, equipment repairs and services.
- Documentation/recording/verification to ensure accuracy, authorization and follow-up consistent with Orlick policies and procedures.
- Maintain the SDS, contractor and supplier databases.
- Communication with shipping/receiving, plant personnel, administration and outside suppliers.
- Use cost effective ‘best practices’ in approval of orders.
- Control the cost of transportation of all goods and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and track incoming parts & expedite orders.
