**Job Description**:
**_ NOTE: This position is structured as a permanent full-time or part-time role with a minimum of 24 hours per week and has the flexibility of working on-site at our downtown Edmonton office, work from home or a hybrid work environment - your choice_**

**Most of the things you’ll work on**:

- Work with Land Developer clients to establish architectural guidelines for multiple communities within Edmonton and surrounding areas
- Create Design Guidelines including maps, and house style graphics and coordinate exterior colours and building materials
- Work with home builders and some homeowners to ensure home plans are in compliance with architectural guidelines
- Conduct physical site inspections on the exterior of homes (homes and landscapes)
- Make enhancements to the exterior elevations of homes to meet the requirements of the architectural guidelines
- Ensure close client relationship is maintained with clients and their staff through regular meetings; stay informed of changing business needs and directions
- Manage and maintain project files
- Prepare inspection reports.

**Qualifications**:
**You'll need to have**:

- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Landscape Architectural Technology or a related discipline - related industry experience would be considered
- Strong interest in house design and land development; experience with house exterior design would be an asset
- Good design sense with creative problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
- Experience working in an engineering consultant or related environment would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal and interpersonal skills and interest in dealing with a diverse range of clients, including homebuilders and homeowners
- Good organizational and time management skills
