About The Role:
This individual is someone who would be responsible for building meaningful and purposeful brand experiences through large-social social media campaigns, supported by research and reporting.

The Digital Social Strategist will work closely with other departments to create impactful, integrated, and measurable strategic social solutions. They’re thought leaders who find the best approach to clearly present data that drives innovation. They uncover cultural insights that surface opportunities and meaning for brands, and create detailed, yet simple presentations that tell stories and provide recommendations that contribute to the strategic direction of client work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Expertise in digital strategy applied across digital ecosystems and social media channels
- Develop and implement social media strategies: Create comprehensive social media strategies for clients, outlining goals, objectives, and tactics to achieve desired results.
- Conduct social media audits: Analyze clients' current social media presence, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: work closely with other team members such as designers, writers, and media buyers to guide the social strategy.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics: Regularly track and report on performance metrics, to evaluate the success of campaigns and inform future strategy.
- Identify and engage with influencers: Research and target key influencers in clients' industries, collaborating on content creation and promotion to expand reach and drive engagement.
- Develop and execute community management strategies: Design and implement strategies to cultivate and grow online communities for clients.
- Serve as the strategic digital leader for a specific business and take accountability for growing that business.
- Partner with other account leads to guide our most senior clients towards bold and innovative solutions
- Conduct research of category, consumer, culture, and company trends that highlights opportunities for clients’ businesses
- Translate strategic discoveries into inspiring briefs for our clients

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of progressive digital marketing experience
- Agency experience is an asset
- Proven experience in social media management, preferably within a marketing agency or in-house marketing team, with a demonstrated track record of success in developing and executing social media campaigns.
- Platform expertise: In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, as well as an understanding of each platform's unique features, best practices, and audience demographics.
- Content writing proficiency: Strong writing skills and experience in crafting content for blogs, articles, and other digital mediums.
- Proven success in executing social strategies: Demonstrated ability to effectively translate social media strategies into tangible actions, with a track record of achieving measurable results.
- Strong analytical/logical thinking skills
- Is innately curious, has an insight into human behavior, and an instinct for popular culture
- Is able to work across different groups and disciplines to push work forward
- Has a strong passion for identifying a business problem and its drivers and demonstrates a structured approach to address complex strategic and management issues
- Familiarity with website digital analytics tools and social media monitoring tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetBase, Sprout Social, Hootsuite.)
