**About the Role**:
We’re hiring a Fleet Standards Coordinator to support vehicle and equipment specifications for ATCO’s light and heavy-duty fleet. You’ll play a key role in developing standards, reviewing tenders, and coordinating with vendors and field personnel to ensure our vehicles are safe, reliable, and tailored to operational needs.
This is a hands-on role that blends technical knowledge, field coordination, and vendor oversight. Ideal for someone with a background in heavy equipment or automotive service, who thrives on precision and quality control.
**What You’ll Do**:
- Develop vehicle and equipment specifications based on field input, legislative requirements, and reviews.
- Investigate operational issues and coordinate with vendors to design solutions.
- Conduct quality control and monitor vendor compliance with manufacturing and installation standards.
- Evaluate fleet conditions, recommend replacements or repairs, and assist with tender reviews.
- Participate in field visits and inspections to validate performance and needs.
**What You Bring**:
- High School Diploma
- Journeyperson certification in with Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) and/or Automotive Service Technician
- 4+ years of previous experience in fleet design, equipment standards, or quality assurance
- Strong understanding of vehicle equipment inspections
- Ability to work both independently and cross functionally with operations, vendors, and manufacturers
