Well Equipment Coordinator

**Summary**
Reporting to the Equipment and Yard Manager, the Well Equipment Coordinator is responsible to coordinate and maintain equpment maintenance programs and regulatory certifiable asset registries for the Ensign Drilling Inc. division. This position is also responsible for inventory asset discrepanices, tracks historical asset information, BOP and Tubular inspections, repairs, and distribution for assigned rilling rigs.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Review rig ‘Want Lists” and coordinate handling tools requests
- Coordinate inspections and repairs of tubulars and BOP equipment in the Ensign Drilling Inc. fleet
- Coordinate transfer of tubulars to rigs from yard and rack locations, track meters and days drilled as well as analyze tubular inspections
- Work with vendors to coordinate field and shop services on BOP equipment
- Purchase materials and services on a cost-effective basis with due consideration for quality, warranties, etc.
- Ensure that ENSIGN purchasing standards are followed
- Coordinate purchasing and its associated documentation with Accounts Payable and the Accounting Managers
- Review problem invoicing and accounts and assure proper authorization procedures are observed
- Reconcile vendor statements and internal reporting to ensure purchase orders are processed in efficient manner
- Support with AFE management for department. Periodic reporting for such
- Maintain FSA inventory systems for assigned equipment (current & historical data)
- Source, release, and transfer assigned equipment as requested
- Update EDI inspection data programs for assigned equipment
- Audit vendors to ensure off site inventory accuracy
- Collaborate operations for certification updates on BOP for active EDI Rig fleet
- Distribute tubular specifications and tubular training module when required
- Collaborate with Operations on inventory movement (daily) and ensure software accuracy for assigned equipment
- Direct field inspections and supervise data updates into inspection programs
- Perform vendor audits and qualify vendors for assigned equipment responsibilities
- Monitor & Implement programs to maximize the life cycle of assigned equipment ie: coatings, chemicals, and hard bands.
- On call rotation
**Qualifications**:
- 3 - 5 years Oilfield experience, with backgrounds in Oilfield Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving and Inventory/Document Control, Tubulars, BOP components
- Strong computer skills including Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven ability to research and collate information
- Accuracy and attention to detail is a critical competency
- Self-motivation.
- Excellent communication skills
