Ceva offers an expanding range of products for companion animals, poultry, swine, and ruminants for Canadian customers.
**About the Job**
**Responsibilities**
Strategy and Policy Definition
- In compliance with Group strategy, ensure proper execution of the campus SC policy.
Inventory Management and Procurement
- Identify stock alert (shortage, overstock, allocation) for a range of products.
- Ensure that the finished products and/or semi-finished products inventories are at the targeted level.
- In case of alert, propose scenarios taking into account constraints and find a consensus with concerned departments.
- Escalate to the manager depending on the severity of the issue if necessary.
Supply Planning
- Define the planning for finished and semi-finished products to reach the best corporate and/ or local stock level based on production and distribution constraints.
- Follow up production schedule adherence and escalate when issues are found.
Purchasing
- Review and approve purchase requisitions in line with purchasing policies.
- Propose local purchasing strategies.
- Manage the relationship & negotiations with suppliers in the category: from sourcing to contracting, for direct materials with a majority of key Components for geographical products.
- Negotiate commercial terms & conditions and liaise with Legal for contracts.
- Monitor market trends and conditions. Guarantee the achievement of budget guidelines and saving objectives.
Demand Planning and Forecasting
- Attend Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP), lead Production Schedule meetings (MPS), Stock Committees and specific task force meetings for a defined scope
Quality, Continuous Improvement and Regulations Compliance
- Suggest planning process improvements & optimizations and collaborate with P&M teams.
- For SC planners managing external suppliers: Manage a purchasing order portfolio in relationship with suppliers to ensure scheduled deliveries and alert/escalate in case of deviation.
- Maintain up-to-date systems
Project Management
- Contribute and/or manage projects depending on scope and complexity.
**About You**
- You have a post secondary degree/diploma in a related field
- You have at least 2 years of demand planning experience in a lean manufacturing environment
- You are passionate about on time delivery and providing great customer service
- You have worked on or lead business project
