**Job Overview**

We are looking for a detail-oriented **Office Manager** to support our team at our Toronto office (**in-person only, no remote work**). The role has a strong focus on bookkeeping and HR support, along with general office administration. You'll be an essential part of keeping our operations organized and efficient.

This position requires **on-site presence** during regular business hours. Days and times are flexible within the 8-16 hours/week range, but you must be available to work at the office in downtown Toronto.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Bookkeeping & Finance**
- Record and track expenses, invoices, and receipts
- Assist with payroll preparation and processing
- Maintain financial records using accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks)
- Support leadership with budget tracking and reporting

**HR & Employee Support**
- Coordinate onboarding of new employees and contractors
- Maintain HR files and documentation
- Track vacation/sick days and assist with scheduling
- Support internal communication and team coordination

**General Office Management**
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, supply ordering, and shipping/receiving
- Communicate with vendors, service providers, and building management
- Keep the office organized and running smoothly

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in office administration or similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and accounting tools (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- **Must be able to work on-site in Toronto (remote work is not available for this role)**
