Project Manager – Contemporary Office Interiors Ltd. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, within scope, and meet or exceed stakeholder expectations. Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of specific projects while ensuring projects are on time, on budget, within scope, and meet or exceed expectations. Provide a single point of contact for customers for all project communications, working alongside the Account Executive. Maintain professional customer interface and client relations throughout the project. Establish overall project scope and manage dealer/manufacturer teams to ensure coordinated effort in all project phases. Direct, coordinate, and manage task assignments and completion for the entire dealer team. Develop work plan, schedule, and logistics based on overall project parameters, scope, and customer goals. Assist in establishing fees, developing quotes and presentations, and presenting to customers when required. Provide technical consultation to customers and their teams. Serve as the single point of contact after order entry, coordinating with client and all third‑party firms (e.g., A&D, contractors, cabling vendors, facility and IT groups). Attend all client and construction site meetings. Maintain detailed project documentation, including key decisions and customer requests or revisions. Provide timely, formal written communications throughout the project to client, manufacturer, and dealer team. Manage accurate and detailed record keeping in the project file. Assist in the preparation of RFPs and quotes, the development of proposals, and presentation to clients. Review technical services’ plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with client for order entry notes and product delivery scheduling. Review ship dates to ensure adherence to original requirements. Interface with factory regarding shipping schedules and special instructions for the manufacturer and shipping carrier. Set schedule, ensuring products arrive on time, and set scope of work and daily goals. Supervise daily site installation, including work performance, installation administration, and task completion timeliness. Ensure installation packages are complete and delivered promptly. Walk the project and develop punch lists, responsible for punch list resolution. Confirm project completion and ensure invoicing is timely and accurate. Manage all final close‑out requirements. Qualifications Detail‑oriented and highly organized. Experience with cross‑border logistics and working with U.S. customers is considered an asset. Project Management Certification or PMP is an asset but not required. Working knowledge of interior construction, office moves and relocations, trucking, furniture manufacturing and shipping is beneficial. Strong product and technical knowledge, including building codes, product application, custom applications, pricing, and solicitation. Strong understanding of relationship management, project management, and solid administrative skills. Hybrid model: work from home, office, or on‑site at client locations. Location & Salary Toronto, Ontario, Canada – Salary: CA$120,000.00 – CA$125,000.00.
