**Job Summary**:
We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Collections Team Lead to join our growing Accounts Receivable team. This is a full-time position based out of our head office in Milton, Ontario. The Collections Team Lead is responsible for the day-to-day collections, analyzing, reporting and monitoring customers payments that are overdue. They will be responsible for collecting payments from business to business that has outstanding debts. In addition, you will also be responsible for leading a team to assist them in providing guidance and advice pertaining to unpaid bills and setting up acceptable terms of repayment to protect the company’s financial assets and position.
**General Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee your assigned collection team to ensure the team is complying with TRAFFIX collections protocols, rules, and regulations.
- Assist in leading their team to follow internal collections process and policies.
- Demonstrate the ability to resolve and problem credit collections issues as they arise.
- Use proven communication and collections techniques to deal with complex matters concerning delinquent customers and accounts.
- In charge of B2B AR collections process while building and sustaining excellent relationships with customers to ensure future payments are being repaid.
- Encourage on-time payments and set up payment plans that can facilitate good credit
- Manage a large portfolio of customers to ensure future payment compliance.
- Reviewing records for accuracy and handling disputes to make sure that account information is entered and maintained appropriately
- Record, update and maintain clear and up to date collection notes for the collection team.

**Additional**:

- Perform any other duties assigned or directed by management as necessary to ensure the continued success of TRAFFIX and the Accounts Receivable Department.

**Job Requirements**:

- Ability to lead, guide and motivate the collection team to achieve daily collections goals and targets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external contacts, customers, clients, and outside industry contacts.
- Ability to work under pressure and flourish in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of demonstrating collection techniques such as monitoring, analyzing, evaluating, and reporting collections information, practices, and trends

**Qualification**:

- University/College Certificate in Credit/Collection is an assist.
- A minimum of 5 years of credit and/or collections experience.
- NetSuite experience is a MUST.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have a friendly team-spirited and positive attitude.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail skills and the ability to multitask.
- Excellent teamwork skills and capable of providing forward-thinking and constructive feedback.
- Exceptional ability to negotiate and resolve unexpected issues/problems

**Work Location**:

- Temporarily working remotely with no timeline regarding the transition of returning to the office.
