**Overview**
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Service Consultant / Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services, ensuring they receive exceptional service and expert advice. You will leverage your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to facilitate communication between customers and technicians, ultimately enhancing the overall service experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their automotive needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs required for vehicles.
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell additional services or products that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and recommendations made.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure clear communication regarding repairs and service timelines.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a customer service role in the automotive industry.
- Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience as a mechanic is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
