**Job Title: Junior Automotive Service Advisor**

**Position Type**: Full-Time

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Greeting**: Welcome customers warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
- **Needs Assessment**: Listen to customer concerns regarding their vehicles and gather necessary information to assist senior advisors in service recommendations.
- **Service Recommendations**: Learn to effectively communicate available services, maintenance schedules, and repair options based on customer needs and vehicle history.
- **Preparing repair orders**: Writing repair orders that include time, cost, and labor estimates.
- **Communicating with mechanics**: Consulting with mechanics about repairs and passing on information from customers.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Assist in scheduling service appointments, ensuring optimal workflow and customer convenience.
- **Explaining costs and outcomes**: Answering questions about service outcomes and explaining the work performed and charges to the customer.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and follow-up actions.
- **Team Support**: Collaborate with senior service advisors and technicians to facilitate effective communication and service delivery.
- **Customer Follow-Up**: Participate in follow-up communications to ensure customer satisfaction with services rendered and to address any questions or concerns.
- **Sales Support**: Assist in promoting additional services and products to customers, contributing to the overall sales goals of the shop.

**Qualifications**
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or customer service is an asset.
- **Experience**: At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive environment.
- **Valid class 5 driver’s license required.**

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of automotive services and terminology.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for customer management.

**Working Conditions**
