**Role Description**
Reporting to the Manager
- Communications, this role is responsible for supporting our team as we celebrate a major milestone—our 50th anniversary We are seeking someone who can seamlessly transform core pieces of content into customized messaging for various audiences and channels, including social media, websites, and newsletters. They are a strong writer (with and without AI tools) who can balance creativity with an appreciation for established processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on time. They also have experience with supporting and executing events. This role requires curiosity to learn about Alberta’s mortgage industry, a drive to be part of a collaborative team, and the ability to manage multiple projects with ease. **The Skills & Competencies We Are Looking For**:
- **Communication & Content Creation**: Proficient in writing and adapting content for diverse audiences across multiple channels (e.g., social media, newsletters, websites). Skilled in developing clear, engaging, and concise written materials to promote events, initiatives, and brand messaging. Experience in editing and proofreading to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- **Social Media Management**:Experienced with executing comprehensive social media strategies. Proficiency in creating engaging social media content tailored to various platforms, including captions and graphics. Capable of scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to audience interactions to drive awareness and participation.
- **Event Coordination & Support**: Experience in supporting event planning, from registration setup to on-site coordination and logístical support. Ability to liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth event execution, including graphics, print materials, and production coordination. Skilled in creating engaging on-site content during events to enhance social media presence.
- **Marketing & Campaign Execution**:Competent in supporting marketing and communication plans, including developing and scheduling digital content. Ability to assist with coordinating and fulfilling advertising commitments, including gathering and managing assets. Familiarity with tracking and analyzing campaign metrics to measure effectiveness and inform future strategies.
- **Organizational Skills & Project Management**:Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively. Detail-oriented approach to ensure content and communications align with established processes and workflows. Experience using project management tools (e.g., ASANA) to collaborate and streamline tasks across teams.
- **Team Collaboration & Interpersonal Skills**:Ability to work collaboratively with communications and events teams, as well as external partners like graphic designers and vendors. Strong relationship-building skills to coordinate between departments and ensure cohesive delivery of projects. Adaptable, resourceful, and dependable team player with a positive, can-do attitude.

The Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA) is the collective voice of the mortgage brokerage industry in Alberta. Through advocacy, education, information, and networking, AMBA develops a standard of excellence for its members and promotes an ethical and sustainable mortgage industry for consumers and industry members. Founded in 1975, AMBA is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to highly ethical business principles and advancing the industry’s high integrity and professionalism.

**A Note on Remote Work**
This position, like all positions at AMBA, is an _**in-office role.**_ Through experience, we have learned that at AMBA, we do our best creative work when we are together in person. However, we offer flexible Fridays for our team, allowing them to work from home if their schedules permit.
