**Position**: Leasing Agent

**Location**: Toronto, ON

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and government regulations
- Qualify potential tenants for leases of 6 months or longer in our unfurnished suites category
- Follow-up on all incoming leads for unfurnished leasing inquiries in a timely fashion, ensuring that resident needs are addressed while at the same time evaluating and maximizing the revenue potential of all potential tenants
- Schedule and conduct tours to potential tenants
- Present and communicate an overview of offerings available and pricing while aligning the tenants needs/desires with a residence
- Confidently communicate a variety of floor plans, features and benefits
- Assist potential tenants to register on-line
- Screen prospective tenants to ensure they meet eligibility requirements, including conducting reference background checks and credit checks
- Close sales for leasing unfurnished suites to meet or exceed company goals
- Ensure a positive customer experience by setting precise expectations and informing clients accurately on the leasing process
- Build, maintain and update client database (Salesforce) with all activities and tenant information in a timely manner
- Manage all marketing activities including, but not exclusively to online ads and social media
- Provide weekly reporting and market data updates
- Stay knowledgeable of the property market status

**Qualifications**:

- Must be able to work evenings/weekends and statutory holidays
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of leasing principles and relevant legislation
- Proven track record of successful sales
- Advanced knowledge of marketing and social media practices
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Salesforce
- Post-Secondary education
- Works well in a team environment
- Real estate license is an asset
- Project a professional image and demeanor

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
