Loan Administration Compliance Advisor

A career as a Compliance Advisor on the Credit Capital Markets (CCM) Loan Administration - Covenant & Security team at National Bank means putting your expertise to deliver trusted advice to internal and external parties. **Your job**
- Conduct review on executed legal documents to ensure financial covenant and reporting requirements are met for corporate borrowers
- Control and monitor all security documentation as set forth in Credit Agreement
- Follow procedures set to identify risks associated with borrowers/client of Credit Capital Markets
- Identify client’s needs and propose appropriate solutions to support the implementation of activities considering the diversity of cases and bank’s operational limitations
- Interact with different sectors of the Bank, managers, and employees to interpret information and offer support and advice on grey area situations
- Support the implementation at different stages of the loan cycle and ensure follow-up until full completion of the request
- Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in teamwork, sharing insights, and contributing to a positive workplace culture
**Your team**
You will be part of a team of 20 colleagues in the CCM Toronto office, and you will report to Senior Manager, CCM Loan Administration. **Prerequisites**
- Requires a 3-year Professional College Diploma in a related field OR Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 3-4 years of experience in Commercial or Capital Markets Sector of a Financial Institution
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in loan administration/financial analysis/security management with the Commercial or Capital Markets sector of a Financial Institution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong ability to multi-task in a fast changing and high-pressure environment
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills
- Be able to work well in a team environment
- Familiar with Loan IQ (loan database system) (asset)
