**Job Summary**
HamsArt Market is a café, community space, and artisanal retail hub in the heart of Queen West. We serve specialty coffee, host events, and support local makers through retail and market space. We’re looking for a friendly and flexible Barista All-Rounder to join our team — someone who’s just as comfortable making a flat white as they are ringing up a poster or managing Uber Eats orders.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Barista Duties**
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
- Follow café recipes and ensure quality and consistency in drinks
- Set up and clean espresso machine and workstations
- Manage food prep for pastries or light snacks (if applicable)
- Restock coffee bar supplies as needed

**Customer Service**
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, welcoming manner
- Take and process in-store orders (POS)
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
- Maintain a clean and inviting seating area

**Uber Eats & Online Orders**
- Accept, manage, and prepare Uber Eats orders promptly
- Package delivery items to meet quality standards
- Update Uber Eats menu items and availability as needed
- Communicate any delays or issues with delivery orders to the team

**Retail Support**
- Assist customers with retail purchases (e.g., posters, art, handmade goods)
- Keep retail displays tidy, attractive, and fully stocked
- Help with inventory checks and tagging of new items
- Process purchases using the POS system

**General Café Duties**
- Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and tables regularly
- Help with dishwashing and trash disposal
- Refill supplies (cups, lids, milk, napkins, etc.)
- Assist with café opening and closing procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year barista experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Uber Eats backend system (a must)
- Friendly, dependable, and proactive attitude
- Good multitasking and time management skills
- Comfort working in both café and retail settings
- Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour
