**Job Overview**
HamsArt Market is a café, community space, and artisanal retail hub in the heart of Queen West. We serve specialty coffee, host events, and support local makers through retail and market space. We’re looking for a friendly and flexible Barista All-Rounder to join our team — someone who’s just as comfortable making a flat white as they are ringing up a poster or managing Uber Eats orders.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Barista Duties**
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages
- Follow café recipes and ensure quality and consistency in drinks
- Set up and clean the espresso machine and workstations
- Manage food prep for pastries or light snacks (if applicable)
- Restock coffee bar supplies as needed

**Uber Eats / Delivery Platform**:

- Accept and prepare Uber Eats orders promptly and accurately
- Package delivery items with care
- Update online menu items and availability
- Coordinate with the team to ensure smooth service for both in-store and delivery orders

**Retail & Cash Handling**:

- Assist customers with retail purchases (e.g. posters, handmade products, art)
- Ring up purchases accurately using POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Restock shelves and keep retail displays neat and appealing
- Help with inventory and tagging new products

**Customer Service**
- Greet and assist customers in a warm, welcoming manner
- Take and process in-store orders (POS)
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally
- Maintain a clean and inviting seating area

**General Café Duties**:

- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Keep the café clean, stocked, and well-organized
- Refill supplies (cups, lids, milk, napkins, etc.)
- Support the team wherever needed
- Clean and sanitize work areas, counters, and tables regularly
- Help with dishwashing and trash disposal

- Assist with café opening and closing procedures

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year barista experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Uber Eats backend system (a must)
- Friendly, dependable, and proactive attitude
- Good multitasking and time management skills
- Comfort working in both café and retail settings
- Availability to work weekends and flexible shifts

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour
