Ensure that trucking companies comply with hours of service (HOS) regulations.
- Assist clients in obtaining necessary permits for transporting oversized or overweight loads.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain safety standards.
- Ensure drivers accurately log their hours, rest periods, and breaks in line with regulations (e.g., FMCSA in the U.S. or Canadian HOS regulations).
- Verify that drivers are not exceeding maximum allowable hours and are adhering to mandatory rest periods to prevent fatigue-related accidents.
- Regularly review logbooks for inconsistencies, errors, or falsified entries and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Store and maintain log records for the required retention period in case of audits or inspections.
- Secure necessary oversize and overweight permits from regulatory authorities for vehicles transporting loads that exceed standard dimensions or weight limits.
- Identify and plan routes that can safely accommodate oversized or overweight loads, avoiding areas with height, width, or weight restrictions like bridges or tunnels.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
