**FACILITY SERVICES TEAM LEAD**
Trico Centre has an exciting opportunity within our Facility Services department as the **Facility Services Team Lead**.
Reporting to the Facility Services Director, the Facility Services Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the facility in the form of health, safety/security, responding to staff and customer queries/concerns, administrative support, monitoring and assisting with internal facility programs to ensure the operation of the facility is maintained. This full-time permanent role will support the Facility Services Director and Duty Managers, while ensuring there a visible presence within the organization and will be the liaison between all departments within the facility.

Public Relations:_**
- Demonstrates and promotes a clear understanding of Trico Centre’s mission, vision, values, and goals
- Maintains a high standard of customer service and upholds Trico Centre’s customer service philosophy.
- Role-models and provides leadership to all staff and volunteers.
- Works collaboratively within Trico Centre’s team to achieve optimal collective results.
- Provides facility information to guests and staff.
- Prepares for and is organized for each work shift by, knowing facility and staff schedules, programs and user group needs/requirements, and facility services needs.
- Assists front line staff in handling customer concerns, complaints, or queries, including documentation of customer information for further follow-up.
- Supports departments with leadership if a guest or staff member requests managerial assistance when the department supervisor is unavailable.
- Ensures all facility areas are staffed to shift requirements and problem solves staffing concerns.
- Conduct facility tours and acts a sales representative for products, services, and memberships.
- Works collaboratively with the Facility Services and Operations team to ensure member facility concerns are addressed.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates facility Pro-Shop
**_ Maintenance / Security and Custodial:_**
- Conducts regular routine facility building checks for any security problems, needs for custodial or maintenance services.
- Ensures facility areas not in use are locked and lights are out during and at the end of every shift.
- Issues work orders to Facility Operations Manager as required.
- Makes sure the facility is clean and assists with light cleaning duties when required (Pick up garbage; mop up a spill, etc.)
- Facility Programs Set up: Checks the maintenance set up and flood sheets at the beginning of each shift.
**_Health and Safety:_**
- Delivers first aid and emergency procedures in accordance Trico Centre’s Emergency Management Plan when required and is the main contact for all facility emergencies.
- Responds to all emergency and incident codes and ensures all reports are completed.
- Takes a proactive approach to ensuring the safety of members, patrons, and staff.
- Reads and is informed on all facility emergency procedures and plans.
- Stays calm, cool and collected when performing and administering Trico Centre building emergency procedures.
- Administers crowd control measures as needed during an emergency.
- Represents Facility Services on the H&S committee.
**_Rentals_**:
- Working closely with the maintenance team, the Facility Services Team Lead will ensure that set-ups and take downs are completed successfully for rental activities.
- Greets private rental users and attends to their needs as per their permit.
- Supports the Facility Services Director with managing drop-in schedules for the Arena and Gymnasium, while ensuring the facility schedule and website are up-to-date and accurate.
- Supports the Facility Services Director with managing all aspects of contract bookings, special events/corporate bookings, and school bookings, etc. within facility rentals.
- Ensures the inventory and budget of facility items such as gymnasium equipment, drop-in program supplies, first aid supplies, vending machine offerings and pro-ship items are fully supplied and accurate.
**_Cash Security_**:
- Ensures cash is secured at all times.
- Ensures cash procedures are followed.
- Assists with float counts, management, cash outs, and transactions.
**_Leadership_**:
- Supports the Facility Services Director with training of all new part time Duty Managers
- Assists the Facility Services Director with updating the Duty Manager training manual and training plans.
- Aids all department Directors and Coordinators by ensuring their department needs., policies and protocols and being met and followed.
- Create and maintain a positive and enjoyable environment for all visitors and employees of the Trico Centre
**Qualifications/ Experience Required**:
- Cash handling experience.
- Microsoft Office, and Registration Software System experience.
- Current Standard First Aid/CPR and AED certification required.
